 Colonia del Sacramento, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of South America's most beautiful cities.

It was founded in 1680, and has Portuguese and Spanish influences. Walking through Colonia streets is like going back in time, although some prefer to get around on golf carts that can be rented in town. Colonia also has a very nice beach and opportunities for biking, skating and running along the waterfront.
