The Quiet Man Gathering in Cong Statue of John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara will be unveiled at The Cong Festival on Sunday 6th October

To recognise the celebrated relationship between the village of Cong and Hollywood greats John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara, stars of the 1952 film The Quiet Man, the unveiling of a specially commissioned statue of the actors will take place on Sunday 6th October during the Cong Festival running from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th October 2013.
