AMR Corporation And US Airways Announce Approval From European Commission For Pending Merger

AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, Inc., and US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE: LCC) today announced that they have received clearance from the European Commission under the EC Merger Regulation for their proposed merger.
