Tourism is new thrust area for growth in Queensland

Tourism is one of the Newman Government’s four pillars of the economy and perhaps the hardest to predict in terms of performance. The other pillars – resources, construction and agriculture – each have their own challenges but, at least, their fortunes tend to run in cycles, which can mean good returns for a number of years once conditions are right.
