AMR Corporation, parent of American Airlines, announces court enters order approving disclosure statement and authorizing solicitation of votes on plan of reorganization

AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, Inc., today announced that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York entered the order approving the Disclosure Statement filed in connection with the company's proposed Plan of Reorganization (the Plan).
