American Supports Student Participation at World's Largest Pre-College Science Contest Intel-ISEF

 American Airlines provides 15 tickets per year for four years, groups of public high school students for their travel to the United States in order to support the presentation of their scientific projects in the International Fair Intel Science and Engineering ( ISEF), the pre-university pageant world's largest science. This year, the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay selected three (3) finalists from 320 participating schools.

In May, the team called "Friendly", composed of three students from the city of Paysandu, won awards for the design and development of a new glove that interprets sign language and translates to written language. Using a laptop Magellan (Ceibal computer gives students Middle), the glove allows maintaining communication with a deaf person.
