Senate Judiciary Approves Immigration Bill Amendment to Include Hong Kong in Visa Waiver Program

 Roger Dow, president and CEO of the U.S. Travel Association, released the following statement applauding members of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee for approving an amendment to S. 744, the Border Security, Economic Opportunity, and Immigration Modernization Act – and specifically Senators Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Mike Lee (R-UT) – that enables Hong Kong's eligibility in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). The program helps increase international travel to the United States and boosts U.S. growth.
