Opals join Boomers in China basketball series

 Western Australian basketball fans and the State’s tourism industry will be the big winners from a new deal which will see Perth host 12 international basketball games between the Australian and Chinese men’s and women’s basketball teams over the next four years.

Tourism Minister Kim Hames said the Sino-Australia Challenge would see the men’s teams from both countries compete annually and the women’s teams biennially until 2016.
