Ryanair teamed up with Tourism Ireland at Dublin Airport to help send Irish football fans off in style and deliver a ‘big green wave’ to Poland, with over 2,000 giant green hands given out to Ryanair passengers travelling to Poznań to promote Irish tourism during Euro 2012.Some 20,000 Irish fans are flying with Ryanair to the European Championships in Poland this month and Ryanair deputy chief executive, Michael Cawley, and Tourism Ireland chief executive, Niall Gibbons, said the travelling supporters would make fine ambassadors for their country.
